About
Our Korongo, named after the Swahili word for flamingo, comes from a network of washing stations across Mbozi, Mbeya, and Mbinga in the southern highlands of Tanzania. The cherries are hand-picked and processed on the farms, with methods varying from farm to farm. Generally, the cherries are depulped using an eco-friendly or standard pulper, then fermented and dried on raised beds for 14 to 20 days.
About KB Coffee Roasters
KB Coffee Roasters, founded in 2010 by Nick Piègay after returning from Australia, pioneered specialty coffee in Paris. Based at 53 Avenue Trudaine in Pigalle, they roast their own beans since 2015 and operate the Back in Black roastery café, serving seasonal coffees and Aussie-inspired hospitality.
