She noticed women often produced higher-quality coffee, and she paid them premium prices to recognize their effort. Andytown Coffee Roasters, founded in 2014 by Michael McCrory and Lauren Crabbe in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset, is an artisan coffee roastery and bakery. Certified as a California Green Business, it roasts small-batch coffees, bakes Irish-inspired treats and operates a growing network of welcoming cafés across the Bay Area.
