For a sweet, smooth, caffeine-free cuppa joe, look no further than this EA natural decaf Esmeralda lot. Quality coffees are selected from smallholder coffee growers in Mexico and are then soaked in Ethyl acetate (EA), a naturally occurring organic compound found in sugarcane, to gently remove caffeine. This process preserves the original characteristics of the coffee, highlighting notes of apple, shortbread, and Dutch cocoa powder.
