Certified as a California Green Business, it roasts small-batch coffees, bakes Irish-inspired treats and operates a growing network of welcoming cafés across the Bay Area.

Andytown Coffee Roasters was founded in 2014 by Michael McCrory and Lauren Crabbe to bring specialty coffee roasting and a cosy, neighborhood feel to San Francisco’s Outer Sunset. They opened a 600 sq ft shop where roasting, baking and service all happened in one room, and aimed to make the café feel like a welcoming grandmother’s kitchen. As the business grew they expanded to Taraval Street in 2017, adding a beachside café and a new roasting facility. Today Andytown is a certified California Green Business committed to compostable packaging, energy efficiency and ethical sourcing. The company emphasises local hiring, inclusive spaces and community events while maintaining meticulous sourcing, small‑batch roasting and skilled baristas. Known for its signature Snowy Plover drink and Irish soda bread, Andytown operates several cafés and a roastery across San Francisco and Menlo Park.
