Rowan Coffee

Rowan Coffee was founded on the principle that a business functions best when all of its elements are in harmony, much like a well-balanced cup. They strive to build a welcoming, comfortable space for guests and employees while pushing the coffee industry forward through exceptional service, progressive business practices and sustainability. Rowan approaches roasting as a way to celebrate the work of coffee producers. They purchase fresh, vibrant and complex coffees and roast for clarity of flavor to honor the effort that farmers put into their crops. As the final link in the supply chain, they believe it's their responsibility to create a coffee experience that faithfully represents all of the work that has gone into each cup. Rowan began as a mobile espresso cart in 2020 and opened a downtown Asheville café in September 2021; they now operate a second West Asheville cafe that houses their roastery, continuing to build a viable future for coffee from the café level back to the producers.
