Kaffeelix
Kaffeelix is a micro-roastery in St. Pölten, Austria, founded in 2012 by Felix Teiretzbacher, a multi-award-winning roaster and 2022 World Coffee Roasting Champion. They roast light, clean and fruit-forward specialty coffees using handmade drum roasters, showcasing clarity and origin-specific flavours.

About Kaffeelix
Kaffeelix began in 2012 when Austrian coffee aficionado Felix Teiretzbacher, owner of the Cimbalino coffee bar in Krems, bought his own roasting machine and started roasting for customers in St. Pölten. His passion for sourcing exceptional coffee and exploring flavour led to the founding of this micro‑roastery dedicated to light roasting that brings out clarity, balance and origin character. Felix roasts on handmade drum roasters (7.5 kg and 30 kg Coffeetool machines and a Giesen W1A) and uses Cropster software to ensure consistent quality. He works directly with producers whenever possible, selecting coffees that score at least 80 points and often carry organic or fair trade certifications. Under his guidance Kaffeelix has earned multiple honours, including the Austrian Coffee Roasting Champion titles in 2019 and 2022 and the World Coffee Roasting Championship in 2022.
