This blend, popularized by Hubert Saint-Jean in the 1930s, offers a classic profile with notes of dark chocolate and nuts. It pairs well with lattes and filter coffee. To recreate this historical blend, we worked with a Cerrado Brazil, our Peru El Cautivo, and a Nicaragua from the J&M family.

Café Hubert Saint-Jean is a long-standing micro-roaster (since 1923) known for specialty and bulk coffees sourced via direct trade. They roast with care to preserve bean richness and guarantee freshness through a 10-day inventory rotation. They operate three retail locations in Sherbrooke and Magog.
