About
This exceptional coffee comes from the mountains of Costa Rica, carefully cultivated by the Castro family for generations. The 'winey' process, also known as 'natural fermented', reveals the aromatic richness of the bean: after harvest, the coffee cherries are slowly dried with their pulp, intensifying the fruity, sweet, and slightly fermented notes, sometimes reminiscent of red wine or macerated fruits.

Café Hubert Saint-Jean is a long-standing micro-roaster (since 1923) known for specialty and bulk coffees sourced via direct trade. They roast with care to preserve bean richness and guarantee freshness through a 10-day inventory rotation. They operate three retail locations in Sherbrooke and Magog.
