Swerl is a micro roastery founded in 2018 by Beatriz, a sommelier, and Daniel, an aircraft technician. While spending a year in New Zealand they discovered the world of specialty coffee and were captivated by its depth and the welcoming community around it. They returned to Falkenberg, Sweden, converting a 1972 Mercedes bus into a mobile coffee bar and serving coffees from leading Swedish roasters. Winters were spent in Lisbon to deepen their understanding of specialty coffee. By 2021 their team grew and they invested in a 15 kg Giesen roaster, refining their craft. In early 2022 Swerl launched its own roastery with new branding, giving them full control over sourcing and roasting. They remain committed to quality and traceability while connecting with like‑minded coffee enthusiasts worldwide.
