Small Batch Roasting Co. was born from the idea that coffee can be better. Founder Andrew Kelly began roasting coffee with a heat gun and colander, questioning how and where coffee is harvested, processed and roasted. This curiosity led to Auction Rooms, a cafe and roastery in North Melbourne where transparency and quality are paramount. The company believes anyone can make cafe-quality coffee at home and shares knowledge through education. They emphasise ethically sourced, agriculturally sustainable beans, roasting exceptional coffee since 2009.
