Rumble Coffee Roasters

Rumble Coffee Roasters was launched in 2014 by Joe Molloy and Matt Hampton, two longtime café and hospitality professionals who set out to shake up the Australian specialty coffee scene. Drawing on experience running award-winning cafés, they focus on roasting standout coffee, delivering strong service to café partners, and building direct relationships with coffee growers. Based in Melbourne, Rumble emphasizes transparency and sustainability. They openly share pricing data, advocate for fair pay across the supply chain, and became a certified B Corporation in 2023. Coffee is roasted in small batches at their Kensington facility and supplied to cafés across Australia. In 2025, they opened an espresso bar on Macaulay Road, serving rotating single origins and blends in a minimalist space near Macaulay Station.
