Pallet Coffee Roasters is a Vancouver-based specialty coffee roaster and café operator established in 2014 by friends including Sharif Sharifi and Shane Dehkodaei. About Pallet Coffee Roasters

Pallet Coffee Roasters was founded in 2014 in East Vancouver when a group of friends transformed a former fish processing warehouse into a roastery‑café. Led by co‑founders Sharif Sharifi and Shane Dehkodaei, the name comes from the simple wooden pallet, a nod to the logistics tools that move coffee around the world. Their first East Village space quickly became a community hub, roasting on site and serving pastries and sandwiches alongside expertly brewed coffee. Since then, Pallet has grown into a cornerstone of Vancouver’s specialty coffee scene, expanding to multiple cafés tailored to their neighborhoods while maintaining a strong focus on sourcing and roasting exceptional beans. Their Railtown flagship houses a state‑of‑the‑art roastery, cupping lab and retail bar, and the team is known for innovation, educational brew guides and a welcoming approach. Pallet’s story reflects a commitment to craft, community and continuous improvement.
