El Salvador is known for producing some of the finest coffee, with 95% grown under shade. Despite its small size, it has a rich history in coffee cultivation since the 19th century. Political instability and other factors have reduced its global production share to 1%.
About Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters
Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters is a B‑Corp certified speciality coffee roaster founded in 2011 in Highland Perthshire and now based in Aberfeldy. They roast small batches on-site, supply 150+ UK cafes and run a roastery café open weekdays. They prioritise traceable, ethically produced coffee, direct trade and local community and environmental initiatives.
