About Bay Coffee Roasters
The roastery sits within sight of the sea near Tresaith beach in West Wales. Living near the coast inspired them to start roasting coffee, aiming to create a product that brings the senses alive. They source only Arabica beans and roast each coffee individually with a medium‑to‑light profile to highlight the unique qualities of its origin. Over more than a decade they have steadily improved their coffees while moving toward environmentally friendly methods. All roasting is powered by electricity from 100% renewable sources such as wind, hydro and solar. Their first cafe in Carmarthen reflects the town’s coffee culture and houses a tiny Rubasse Nano shop roaster so visitors can see how their coffee is roasted and enjoy a fresh brew.
