About Volcano Coffee Works
Volcano Coffee Works began 18 years ago when Kiwi chef Kurt Stewart served espresso from a vintage Piaggio Ape cart in West Dulwich. Driven to introduce better coffee, he expanded to a London roastery and two cafés, building a team of 45. The brand is B‑Corp certified, roasts in small batches, pays farmers above Fairtrade, and champions ethical, flavour‑forward coffee that "tastes good and does good." Kurt still roasts the first batch each day, embodying the company’s hands‑on, independent spirit.
