The Ngurueri Washing Station, established in 1968, is located at 1760m above sea level on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Coffee cherries are handpicked and processed under strict quality criteria, ensuring only the best cherries are used. The coffee is fermented for 12 to 48 hours and thoroughly washed to remove any remaining fruit pulp.
