About Tico Coffee Roasters
Mariana Faerron, originally from Costa Rica, grew up surrounded by coffee plantations and later built a career as an agricultural economist. She launched Tico Coffee Roasters in 2010 in Campbell, California, driven by a desire to share a unique coffee and tea experience grounded in the values of her heritage. The company remains a boutique roaster and importer of sustainable Grand Cru coffees and curated teas, hand roasted in small batches. It emphasizes direct‑trade relationships with farmers and aims to empower, protect and nourish communities from farm to cup.
