Sweven

Sweven (an old English word for dream) began as the vision of Jimmy and Aga Dimitrov, whose journey in coffee started in 2010. After a decade of travelling, meeting producers and honing their craft, they founded Sweven in 2019 to pursue precision, purpose and a deep respect for the people behind every bean. They meticulously source and roast coffees that honour the skill and care of farmers, ensuring each cup tells a story of craftsmanship and place. Both founders bring extensive experience: Jimmy once managed an SCA Coffee Education Campus and oversaw quality control and sourcing for a major company, while Aga served as Head of Coffee for a regional chain. Their flagship café at 12 North Street in Bristol’s Southville has become a community hub where seasonal coffees are served with Nordic minimalism. Sweven’s mission goes beyond flavour; it’s about connection, shared experiences and building lasting relationships with producers, colleagues and guests.
