About Rounton Coffee Roasters
Rounton Coffee Roasters began when founder David Beattie returned to his native North Yorkshire after travelling the world and meeting Sumatran coffee farmers. Inspired by their passion, he converted a historic granary in East Rounton into a roastery in 2013. In the early years the team sold their small‑batch roasts at farmers’ markets and honed their craft. Today the roastery sources ethically grown beans and prioritises traceability and quality. Their motto is that great coffee should be accessible to everyone, whether brewed at home or in a café. From the converted granary they supply farm shops, delis, cafés and restaurants across the UK, host tastings, and welcome visitors to enjoy their Granary coffee bar.
