This coffee is brought to us by the Mugaga Farmers Cooperative in the Nyeri region of Kenya, and of note, this cooperative is made up of five washing stations representing 4800 members - 1/3 of whom are women. This particular coffee comes from the Gatina washing station and it has been in existence since 1968. Around our cupping tables the past few weeks we have all been excited about this coffee....it is a really nice balance of tangy, savory notes balanced with classic Kenya sweetness.
