An exceptional family operation on the slopes of Mount Kenya, Privam Estate is led by Rita and Patrick Mukundi. They follow a polyculture system with macadamia and coffee plants, improving crop and soil health. The coffee features bright, fruity notes with a lingering finish.

Pilot Coffee Roasters, founded in 2009 by Andy and Jessie Wilkin in Toronto’s Leslieville, is a specialty roaster and café group. Inspired by New Zealand’s café culture, the micro -roastery (once named Te Aro) sources ethical, direct -trade beans and now operates multiple cafés and a roastery in Toronto.
