Panther Coffee

Panther Coffee is a specialty coffee company focused on sourcing, roasting and preparing some of the finest coffees in the world. They roast in small batches, work directly with producers and serve coffee with intention and care to build mutually beneficial relationships. Founded in 2010 by coffee professionals Leticia and Joel Pollock, the company began as a roastery café in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood after the founders noticed a lack of specialty coffee in the city. Their vision quickly grew into multiple cafés across Florida, New York and Michigan, including a second roasting operation in Traverse City. Panther Coffee supports sustainability initiatives such as installing rainwater tanks and planting mosquito repellent crops in Uganda, building drying beds and improving processing infrastructure with the Café Cocano cooperative in Haiti, repurposing burlap bags through a women‑led artisan group and composting cold brew grounds with a local environmental partner. The roaster has earned recognition including placement on the World's 100 Best Coffee Shops list, multiple Good Food Awards, regional barista competition accolades and features in publications like Monocle Magazine and USA Today.
