About Obadiah
Obadiah is a modern coffee roastery rooted in Edinburgh since 2017. Guided by curiosity to explore the breadth of character in coffee, the team developed a clean, expressive roasting approach that preserves each lot’s natural qualities and clarity. They cultivate long‑term relationships with renowned and emerging producers and work with specialist green suppliers, seeking flavour‑led coffees with depth and layered complexity. Roasting is adapted to each coffee for balance and versatility across filter and espresso, inviting mindful brewing at home. Obadiah also recommends generous resting periods post‑roast to allow CO₂ to release and the full spectrum of flavours to emerge.
