About Maru Coffee
Maru takes its name from the native Korean term San Ma Ru, meaning "mountaintop," symbolizing the high-altitude origins of quality coffee. Born from a love of process and everyday quality, Maru is inspired by analog craft and the simplicity of good coffee, believing tradition can be respected and re-imagined. Their coffee is made with intention, balance, and a love for the ritual of a well-made cup. Maru roasts all coffee at a roastery in Glassell Park, Los Angeles, where production—roasting, quality checks and defining tasting notes—takes place to maintain exceptional standards.
