This coffee comes from the world-famous Sidama region in southern Ethiopia, where volcanic soils and an ideal climate ensure perfect ripening of the cherries. Local farmers hand-pick the coffee at the perfect moment, resulting in a fruity coffee with bright flavors of coffee cherry and a delightful sweetness that reflects the unique, quirky soul of Sidama.

Madmum Coffee Roasters is a Leuven-based specialty coffee roaster and bar founded by Pieter Claes. They roast weekly in their city roastery, run several coffee bars in Leuven and Mechelen (including The Roastery), offer workshops (Madmum Labs) and sell beans and gear online — focusing on quality and direct relationships with producers.
