Lighthouse Roasters

Lighthouse Roasters is a Seattle-based neighborhood roaster and café established in 1993, roasting small-batch coffee six days a week. Known for rich, balanced roasts with dark chocolate and toffee notes, they offer subscriptions, retail blends and single-origin beans, and operate a storefront in Seattle’s Wallingford/University District area.

About Lighthouse Roasters

Over thirty years ago, founder Ed Leebrick began roasting in a closet-size space on Sand Point Way, distributing same-day freshly roasted beans to local restaurants. Lighthouse grew from that hands-on, community-focused start into a neighborhood roaster and café. Lighthouse emphasizes craft and consistency: roasting six days a week, focusing on balanced profiles where origin character can shine—frequently noting dark chocolate flavors, heavy body, toffee sweetness, and balanced acidity. They prioritize quality over chasing trends and offer subscriptions and retail coffee.
