Laidrey Coffee Roasters

Laidrey Coffee Roasters is a woman‑owned micro‑roastery and café founded by Gacia Tachejian in Tarzana, California. As the first female start‑up roastery café in the San Fernando Valley, Laidrey sources high‑quality specialty coffees and roasts them to highlight each origin’s unique flavours.

About Laidrey Coffee Roasters

Founder Gacia Tachejian left a career in medical research when she couldn’t find coffee that suited her taste. She began roasting coffee in her garage and launched Laidrey as a pop‑up cart in her hometown of Tarzana, becoming the San Fernando Valley’s first female roaster. Her one‑woman business quickly grew into a community hub that hosts education events and fosters a love for specialty coffee. Laidrey partners with passionate farmers to source seasonal single‑origin coffees and roasts them to accentuate each origin’s character. Tachejian opened a brick‑and‑mortar roastery café during the pandemic, installing the roaster inside the shop and offering public cuppings. The micro‑roastery has since expanded to additional cafés in Encino and Agoura Hills while maintaining its commitment to quality, sustainability and community.
