About Curve Coffee Roasters
Curve Coffee Roasters is a small-batch roastery based in Moab, Utah. The founders (Chris and David) grew up in St. Louis with a passion for food and drink; after careers in different cities they reunited and started Curve to pursue coffee roasting in Utah’s outdoors. They focus on sourcing high-quality specialty coffees (only buying coffees scoring at least 85 Q points), working with farms and importers who prioritize fair pay and sustainability, and experimenting with roast profiles (the "Coffee Curve") to highlight each coffee’s best characteristics. Their mission emphasizes being "Good to Farmers" (fair prices and working with committed farms/importers), "Good to the Earth" (compostable packaging, minimizing waste, supporting sustainable farming), and "Good for Your Taste Buds" (searching out exceptional coffees and roasting to showcase flavor). The brand name "Curve" references their method of plotting roast temperature curves to dial in ideal roasts.
