High up in eastern Uganda, small farmers cultivate their coffee beans with patience and precision. The coffee matures slowly under natural shade, resulting in beans with a natural concentration and depth suitable for darker roasting. The coffee has a clear weight, yet retains liveliness, with flavors of dark chocolate and caramel, complemented by a deep fruitiness of forest berries.
