Tome

This coffee, all grown in the Tome kebele, is collected by the four Edema brothers. It is all grown at high altitudes on small plots and mostly in combination with Abyssinian banana trees. Nearly 300 farmers contribute to the Tome washing station. Harvest happens in three stages, and the coffee is sorted for 2 days on drying beds.

Cloud Picker Coffee Roasters, based in Dublin, Ireland, was founded in 2013 by Frank Kavanagh and Peter Sztal after a trip to Northern Thailand where they watched coffee pickers in the clouds. As Dublin’s first micro coffee roastery, they roast small-batch specialty coffees with care and curiosity.
