Alma Coffee

Alma Coffee, founded in 2018 in Canton, Georgia by fifth‑generation coffee farmers Leticia and Harry Hutchins, is a farm‑to‑cup roastery and café. Veteran and woman owned, it sources beans from their family farms in Copán, Honduras and neighboring farms, roasts them on energy‑efficient Loring roasters and champions direct trade and sustainability.

About Alma Coffee

The story of Alma Coffee begins with fifth‑generation coffee farmer Leticia Hutchins and her husband Harry, who founded the company in 2018 to bring the positive impact of direct trade to light. Drawing on their family’s farms in Copán, Honduras, they built a vertically integrated, farm‑to‑cup model that controls growing, importing and roasting. Based in Canton, Georgia, Alma Coffee roasts small batches on Loring roasters that use about 80% less fuel than conventional machines, offering ethically sourced coffees, Cascara and honey. Guided by pillars of improving lives, sustainability and extraordinary coffee, they pay fair prices, support their farming communities and share their knowledge through tours, brew guides and community events.
