About
Kolla Bolcha has only been around for 2 years but they have been an excellent representative of the Agaro region. This washing station receives and processes coffee from 759 smallholder farmers. Coffees are washed and depulped mechanically, then soaked overnight. After fermentation, coffee is dried for 6-8 hours a day over 6 to 8 days on raised beds with frequent turning.
About 4LW Coffee
Four Letter Word (4LW) is a small coffee project born from childhood friendship and a shared love of coffee, design and community. Founded with a roastery and café on Burgaz Island (Istanbul) in 2013, it expanded to Chicago (The Plant/Back of the Yards) and later Logan Square, focusing on traceable sourcing, careful roasting, and a leisurely coffee experience.
