About Vertigo Coffee Roasters
Vertigo Coffee Roasters began in 2006 as an online roastery selling freshly roasted beans. Within four years owner Fridman and his wife moved the business to 81 Fourth Street in San Juan Bautista, turning their love of coffee into a physical café. They roast coffee in small batches with a focus on quality, consistency and transparency, highlighting the unique character of each origin. The café has become a community hub and Central Coast destination known for freshly roasted coffee, house‑made fare and wood‑fired pizzas, blending rustic charm with craft coffee culture.
