Chabela is produced by an exporter in the coffee region of Chiapas, Mexico. Founded in 1980, it was the first decaffeinator in Latin America, using patented water-based technology for over 99% extraction. Certified organic since 2003, the company emphasizes ethical business practices with key stakeholders.
