Terbodore Coffee Roasters began in 2004 as a small family‑run operation in the KwaZulu‑Natal Midlands. Over two decades they have grown into one of South Africa’s most recognisable specialty coffee brands, roasting premium coffee for everyone from bold single origins to indulgent flavoured blends. Their team roasts at the Franschhoek roastery, where they craft each batch to bring out the best in every cup. The company’s mission is summed up by their motto “Great Tasting Coffee for Everybody”. They emphasise that there is no right or wrong way to enjoy coffee and celebrate personal taste. Terbodore operates a laid‑back, dog‑friendly café at 29A Huguenot Street in Franschhoek that combines coffee, food and design. They also maintain their Midlands roastery and coffee bar in Howick and continue to share their journey through their book “Exploring Coffee”, which captures the stories, challenges and experiences that have shaped the brand.
