They pursue direct relationships with producers, rotate seasonal offerings, and emphasize transparency about origin details. 3) In retail, Slate became known for modern, minimalist café experiences (notable items include the Deconstructed Espresso) and a focus on brewing intentionally, with different café formats to suit neighborhood needs.
