Simple Kaffa

Simple Kaffa was established in 2011 in Taipei by Berg Wu, the first Taiwanese World Barista Champion (2016). Starting as a roastery and cafe, it quickly gained a reputation for exceptional coffee, employing color‑sorting computers and nitrogen flushing to ensure each bag is consistent and fresh. These innovations, along with Wu’s championship pedigree, helped place Simple Kaffa on numerous best‑coffee‑shop lists domestically and internationally. Over the years the brand has expanded to multiple outlets, including a hidden basement shop in Hotel V and the sky‑high Simple Kaffa Sola on the 88th floor of Taipei 101. Despite its growth, the company remains focused on quality and innovation, continually pushing the boundaries of specialty coffee while sharing its passion with guests. The team of nearly thirty baristas and roasters continues to win competitions and uphold their founder’s dedication to excellence.
