About Seattle Coffee Works
Seattle Coffee Works started near Pike Place Market in 2006 and grew into a local specialty-roasting and café brand. The team built a reputation for hands-on coffee education, a signature Slow Bar for manual brewing, and direct-trade sourcing with transparency and equity for farmers. Over time SCW expanded to neighborhood outposts (Ballard and South Lake Union/Cascade) and became part of Vibe Coffee Group (acquired in 2022), continuing to operate neighborhood cafés while maintaining a focus on quality, community, and tasting experiences.
