This lot comes from women producers on Idjwi Island, a remote island in Lake Kivu in eastern DR Congo. Grown at high elevations and fully washed, this coffee is bright and structured with juicy tropical fruit up front, soft plum sweetness, and a mellow cocoa finish. Careful fermentation and slow drying create clarity and balance in the cup.
