This coffee is produced by small farmers from the Gedeo and Oromo groups. The farms are generally small, with families producing one to three 60-kilo bags of coffee annually. Ethiopian farmers harvest their crops with family assistance. The washing stations pay premiums for high-quality ripe cherries. The plants grow in the shade, protected by avocado and other trees. The cup is vibrant and soft, with medium complexity, showcasing the character of Ethiopian coffees from this region.
