Phoenix Coffee Roastery was founded in 2020 by Yat, an experienced barista with over a decade in the industry. During the Covid lockdown, Yat began serving hand‑brewed coffee from a bike on Peng Chau, branding it as "Bike Coffeeman." After three years he transitioned to roasting his own beans, establishing a dedicated roastery at Wah Tat Industrial Centre in Kwai Chung. The company now roasts fresh beans each Monday and supplies both established chains and independent cafés across Hong Kong, emphasizing small‑batch, flavor‑forward blends.
