About
Our specialty coffee, Kenya Kii, comes from the Kii Factory Wet Mill in the Kirinyaga region, nestled on the green slopes of Mount Kenya. Cultivated at 1600 to 1800 meters, around 950 small farmers of the Rungeto Cooperative carefully harvest each cherry. The cherries are depulped and fermented under optimal conditions, washed, and gently dried on raised African beds. This coffee reveals notes of juicy mandarin, followed by a hint of herbs. It unfolds fruity and lively with a complex acidity reminiscent of green tea, complemented by nuances of citrus and honey. The finish is refreshing and clear, inviting the next sip.
