Nektar Torréfacteur

Nektar began in 2009 as Nektar Caféologue in Quebec City with the goal of introducing specialty coffee to a wider audience. After offering many third-wave roasters and growing their community, the founders decided in 2018 to begin roasting themselves to better express their vision and expand exploration of terroirs and processing. Their approach emphasizes traceability and direct relationships with producers—sourcing microlots and experimental lots, highlighting farmers and evolving drying/process methods. Respect for the people behind each bean and sharing discoveries with customers are central to their mission.
