Mela Coffee Roasting Company roasts specialty coffee in the Wenatchee Valley at the foot of the Cascade Mountains along the Columbia River. Its roasting team searches for the best beans and develops the optimal roast profiles, roasting coffees that score over 80 on the Specialty Coffee Association scale. Since moving into a larger roasting facility at 3 Orondo Ave in Wenatchee, they host public cuppings and continue mastering the craft of roasting. The company has been serving espresso at their café at 17 North Wenatchee Avenue since 2007, offering house‑made pastries and breakfast alongside their micro‑batch roasted coffees.
