With more than 30 years’ combined experience and numerous competition wins, Manhattan Coffee Roasters grew from the vision of champion barista Esther Maasdam. Their objective is to source and roast awe‑inspiring coffees ethically and responsibly, partnering with producers who champion sustainability and innovation. Established in 2017 in the harbor city of Rotterdam, they draw inspiration from the Holland America Line that once connected Rotterdam to New York, giving the city the nickname “Manhattan aan de Maas.”
