They roast and serve 100% organic, biodynamic and regenerative coffees, operate two San Francisco locations (Potrero Hill roastery/cafe and Mission District cafe), sell beans online, and are B Corp and California Green Business certified.

The Linea Caffe name (Italian for 'line') refers to the throughline acknowledged in making a great cup of coffee honoring every step and person from seedling to cup. Founded in 2013 by veteran roaster Andrew Barnett, Linea focuses on sweetness-forward coffee, excellent espresso, and community. The company emphasizes organic, regenerative, and biodynamic farming practices, transitioned its entire inventory to 100% organic, and in 2023 became a Certified B Corporation and a certified California Green Business.
