Larry's Coffee

Larry's Coffee began in the early 1990s when founder Larry Larson started roasting in Raleigh’s Five Points neighborhood. The company blends coffee excellence with a belief that business should be a force for good. Their green ovated campus of three buildings includes a roastery with solar water‑heated floors, rainwater‑driven restrooms and a passive‑solar clear story, and nearly all of their coffee is Organic, Fair Trade and shade grown. As a certified B Corp and founding member of Cooperative Coffees, Larry’s sources beans directly from small farmers who are paid fairly and roasts them in small batches to highlight each origin’s character. They harvest rainwater to run bathrooms, use solar panels to heat floors and even keep a bee hive. In 2025 Jessie and Sandro became the new owners, continuing the legacy of Larry Larson and upholding the values of sustainability, community and fun.
