Alemayehu Gosaye Gobena is a coffee farmer from Gerisse in the Yirgacheffe district of Ethiopia. He has deep roots in his land and traditions, having grown up in a family of coffee growers. After taking over the family farm in 2013, he replaced old coffee varieties with more resilient ones and mentored neighboring farmers in better agricultural techniques. His coffee ranked 18th in the prestigious Cup of Excellence in Ethiopia in 2022.
