About June Coffee
JUNE started roasting in 2018, but its story began years before when founder Jimmy Truong quit college to learn everything he could about coffee. He traveled widely, bumping elbows and clinking mugs with anyone who might help him source and roast sustainable, tasty beans, and his growing following pushed him to open a cafe and storefront in 2022. The cafe is a love letter to Birmingham, serving friends and neighbours while the team pursues the ideal roasting conditions for every bean. With particular taste and a strong love for caffeine, they wake up each day motivated by the pursuit of stellar coffee and their first cup.
