We're a boutique coffee roastery, proudly based in Toronto, ON. Our philosophy is rooted in respect for People, Coffee, and Earth. From the outset, we have been committed to quality, sustainability, and transparency. Our mission is simple: to source outstanding coffees from farmers who share our values and dedication to excellence. The inspiring stories of the people behind each coffee inspire us to create exceptional labels. Co-Founders Kayla (Co-Founder, Head Roaster & Sensory Specialist) and Leah (Co-Founder, Head of Operations) lead the roastery. Kayla brings sensory expertise and roasting experience (noted as a two-time Cup Taster Champion) and leads green coffee buying and roast profile creation; Leah oversees operations, customer service, and wholesale. The roastery emphasises varied roast profiles and making specialty coffee accessible to everyone. The business operates at a roastery location in Toronto and notes meetings are by appointment. The site also includes acknowledgements of the Indigenous territories in which they operate and invites visitors to learn more via native-land.ca.
